"...This is an excellent program. I'm so glad that I stumbled on to this when researching for task management programs. Very low learning curv, quite flexible, and the price is right. Tried at least 20 other programs, either too complicated, too expensive, or poor documentation..."

  1. Choosing Destinations.
    • Talk to your travel agent to get the best deals and offers.
    • Use Internet to visit multiple websites about travelling in order to read on ideas.
    • Choose spots considering your budget.
    • Use Google Maps to see the place which you are going to visit.
    • Make all necessary arrangements regarding your workplace before your trip.
  2. Tips for Preparation.
    • Make sure your visa and passports are valid and available.
    • Make all necessary arrangements regarding vaccinations.
    • Reserve a hotel in advance (at least two weeks before the departure date). Take confirmation numbers with you.
    • Reserve airplane tickets in advance (at least two weeks before the departure date).
    • Make sure your travel insurance policy covers the duration of your trip.
    • Take your driver's license and registration with you (for car renting purposes).
    • Be sure of preparing foreign currency (cash, traveler's checks, credit cards).
    • Suspend your subscription to newspapers (a pile of newspapers in your mailbox vividly tells thieves that you are not at home).
    • Ask someone (your friend, relative or neighbor) to take care of your pets and to water your plants.
  3. Packing List.
    • Keep your travel documents and money always with you (for example, in a wallet that you can access at all times). Do not pack your money and/or important documents in a bag that may get lost.
    • Tag your luggage with your name, address, and telephone number
    • Attach a colorful ribbon to your luggage – you will easily identify your luggage among multiple bags of other travelers.
    • Pack food supplements (vitamins, canned food, can opener) in your bags.
    • Do not pack fruits and non-sterile foods (like dried sausages and meat), because they can spoil quickly and are usually confiscated by customs.
  4. Wear.
    • First of all, make sure you get UV protective clothing for you and your kids
    • Beach sandals and waterproof shoes
    • Sun hats and baseball caps
    • Swimming suits
    • Summer beach clothing (dress, slacks, shorts etc.)
    • T-shirts, cover up, tank top
    • Ear plugs for safe swimming
    • Wind/rain jacket
  5. Basic Beach Equipment.
    • Mesh bags (so sand won’t collect)
    • Several beach towels for you and hooded beach towels for your kids
    • Large water and drink container
    • Large blanket (especially if you are going to stay at the beach for the night)
    • Plastic and unbreakable beach picnic gear
    • Surfboards/body-boards
    • Diving gear (usually license is required)
    • Snorkel-Mask-Fin set
    • Fishing gear
    • Inflatable floatation devices for your kids
    • Beach toys for your kids (bucket, spade, sieve etc.)
    • Frisbee
    • Kite
  6. Miscellaneous Essentials.
    • Reading material (your favorite book, newspapers)
    • Beach backpack
    • Video camera and underwater camera
    • Cell phone
    • Chargers for your cameras and cell phone
    • MP3 player, IPod
    • Two pairs of headphones
    • Zip-lock bags for seashell collecting (your kids will like collecting seashells)
    • Your laptop packed in a special bag
    • Insect repellent (for warm beach nights full of mosquitoes)
    • Anti-itch cream
    • Portable air fan for cooling
    • First aid kit
    • Waterproof wallet to keep your cash
