Defining project roles:

  • Define critical (key) and ordinary activities of the project
  • Classify project roles that will manage this activities

Defining the project resources requirements and resources availability:

  • Create a detailed list of responsibilities for each role
  • Define what skills and professional crafts are required to fulfill these responsibilities
  • Elaborate ways, methods, style, instruments of collaboration among roles
  • Create a list of human resources available
  • Define if they posses sufficient skills to cover roles requirements

Make a tab for each role where columns represent required skills, and lines - persons available, mark out columns which person could cover.
